Liyanah Musfirah, is a mother, daughter, a businesswoman, sister and a friend to many. A graduate of Madrasah Alsagoff Al-Islamiah; she went on to pursue her tertiary studies at Mujamma’ Ahmad Kuftaro, Damascus, Syria.
Recently armed with a Degree in Muslim Family Law (Ahwal Sakhsiyyah) from State Islamic University of Northern Sumatra, she continues her endeavour to trail-blaze women empowerment work in Singapore.
“In my passionate pursuit to champion women,

Empathise and not judge;
Hold more often, than scold;
Nurture their learning instead of pushing them further;
Co-construct, rather than just, instruct.”
Liyana Musfirah Network (LMN) was established in late 2018.
As a young female asatizah, her engagement efforts include women of all ages. Touching the lives of women and their concerns has been a hallmark of Ustazah Liyana Musfirah’s effort . Rooted in the belief on the importance of network and connection, the Liyana Musfirah Network (LMN) was established in late 2018.
Ustazah Liyana Musfirah aspire for her Network to offer difference towards how women experience themselves, their relationships with others and especially, their relationship with religion, and their experiences of support and holding.
She won the Most Influential Womenpreneur Award in 2019 – this award has motivated her to look at even more ways to use her influence to support, guide, attend and cultivate learning within her community of women followers.
“As an influencer, I recognise pain and I connect with others to find ways to manage the pain. I want to use my influence to bridge and reach to many different segments of women, as well as many aspects of women including singlehood and motherhood.”
Ustazah Liyana Musfirah is the writer of the book “The Spiritual Strength in our Scars.”
In this book, Ustazah Liyana Musfirah takes readers on a reflective journey of discovering the strength that emerges from each of our painful and scarring episodes. This is the book that celebrates what God has given women - the resilience to withstand emotional, spiritual and even physical hardships.
